Become a Trustee
Help Filwood Community Centre reach its full potential.
Do you care about bringing fun, friendship, and creative experiences to the people of Knowle West and South Bristol?

Do you have a few hours a month to help as a trustee?

Filwood Community Centre is run by the charity Community in Partnership Knowle West (CiPKW).
CiPKW has a board of trustees who take responsibility for guiding the staff team, and ensuring that the charity sticks to its purpose.

We are going through an exciting period of change, our board is growing and we need additional skills and experiences to help the charity thrive.

Do you have skills in any of these areas?

-
General board experience
-
Finance
-
Capital building development projects
-
Marketing
-
Commercial building operation
If so, we would love to hear from you.

What does it involve?

The commitment from trustees is to attend the monthly board meetings on the first Tuesday of the month from 5pm to 7pm, plus 4 hours a month to assist on a subcommittee or project group.

What ‘s in it for me?

Being a trustee gives you the satisfaction of knowing you are helping a vital service to the Knowle West community, as well as the chance to be part of many fun and creative activities. It may also develop your skills and lead to an enhanced CV. It is a voluntary post, but reasonable expenses may be claimed.
